Amanda Sheridan is the Artist and Creator behind STUDIO flâneuse.

 

Her work expresses an appreciation for colour, and elements of the botanical world.  She draws great inspiration from nature, in particular the rugged Highlands of her native Scotland as well as the wildness of her local Donegal, where she lives nearby in Derry with her husband and three daughters. Although her texture may evoke the cragginess of coastal rocks and coarse thick heather, her use of colour expresses her attachment to the Scottish Colourists, with the twist of modern, vibrant tones.
